Blocky Block Block

I haven't written in ages. I'm tired of thinking about my own life. Give me a topic please, and I will get in and wrassle with it.

How about music? Or dancing? Or people watching? Or good books you've read? Or cooking? Or art? Or things that piss you off? Things that make you happy? Someone you love? Trees, kitty logic, working with the public? Having fun?

Ok, that's all I got for now. Good luck!

god I know -I'm so sick of overanalyzing my life as well -I may start blogging exclusively about reality television. Damn. I guess I'd have to watch reality television then. Write us a story about your kitty and something funny it's done lately :) mine has been on crack lately!

I have blogger's block, too. I am just totally uninspired.

Pick a photo in a frame and start writing about it.

Stories of children...when are they not either tragic or hilarious?

Stories of nature....when is nature not inspiring?

Photo stories.....food for your week, flowers throughout your month, people at the store?

"Mermaids with the fish half on top" gets my vote.

I loved your "Walking all around" story. What if your top half had been a fish? That would've been neat. Although, that guy might not have stopped. Or maybe he would've...

It will be fabulous.

Sorry no help here - unless you want to write about MY life, because that seems to be all I can think about at the moment.

I have a few ideas... (and THANKS for asking for ideas!)
an exercise from a creative writing class - ten minutes of "free" writing, just start writing or typing, if you cannot start with a topic, start naming colors and something will springboard in your mind and away you go go go...

other ideas:

Mavis's Radish Tree - a MAGICAL radish that grew beyond all proportion. It is accessed by a circular staircase and she carved rooms into the radish part and lives there and cares for wounded birds and makes windchimes and weaves things from the presents healed birds bring to her.

I love Hank's idea of a mermaid with the fish half being the TOP half...
